Roderick Records is an independent creative entertainment company built from the ground up to do one thing differently put the power of the music and entertainment Industry back in the hands of the people who make it possible. Founded in Glasgow, Scotland. We provide Professional Management, Career Development and Industry support to Music Artists across the United Kingdom.
We Are not a traditional record label. We don't sign artists to restrictive contracts. We don't take ownership of your music. We don't make decisions about your career without your say.
Instead, We operate as a management and development company that works alongside you providing the tools, connections and strategic support you need to build a sustainable career on your own terms.
Why We Exist
The music industry has operated on the same model for decades, Artists sign away their rights, hand over creative control, and hope that the label will invest enough to make them successful. For every Artist who makes it under that system, thousands are left with nothing, no masters, no royalties, no career and no way to rebuild.
Roderick Records was established because we believe that the model is broken. We watched talented, hardworking artists pour everything into their craft only to be told that success required giving up the very thing they created.
We asked a simple question 'What if there was a company that gave independent talent the same level of professional support that major labels offer but without taking ownership of their work?
